I spent $38.00 on this book and it was a complete waste of money. I also bought the two other English 07 books on Amazon which were actually cheaper and more useful. The information in this book is unorganized and goes very in-depth in certain areas while at the same time it leaves out a lot of information that was actually covered in the exam. The test in this book is nothing like the actually MTEL. I feel cheated!

Not as helpful as I had hoped.
This book was a great quick review just before exam. Didn't replace studying, but great tips to think about. I passed both in same day first try!
Don't buy this book, its a waste of time and money to read it. Did not help me pass the test at all.
Easy to follow. Broken down enough for better comprehension.
I'm in the process of reading this book and studying for the English Mtel. My confidence has been extremely low, but reading this book, and reading other success stories on how this book has helped, I can't help but feel excited that this is my chance to pass.
Nothing like the test, even compared to the practice test the content wasn't helpful for studying similar type material, or any information that would help. Very disappointed that I spent over$60 for this, what a waste.
This book is not a helpful tool in terms of preparing for the English MTEL. Do not buy! The questions provided on the practice test look nothing like the format on the actual test, and 90% of the information provided is not useful when preparing for the exam. Additionally, the way the book is formatted (bulk summaries then one practice test) is not an engaging study tool. It would be so much more helpful to have practice questions alongside content to make studying more active. Don't waste your money.
